The Julie Moir Messervy Design Studio has released an updated version of their Home Oustide Palette design app.
Features on the app include:
- Ability to import an image as your background.
- Multiple layers that can be turned off and on.
- Option to share completed designs on social media – friends can now edit one another’s designs and email them back and forth.
- Share designs with JMMDS landscape designers.
- Specialty elements and tools package, which includes Drawing and Measuring Tools and five additional palettes of 84 brand-new elements: Shrubs, Perennials, Grasses, Containers, and Lighting. The package is an in-app purchase for $9.99. The Drawing Tools offer brushes of different colors and widths and an eraser to allow users to draw garden beds and other free-form shapes. The Measuring Tool uses GPS technology to allow you to “walk and click” the proportions of a rectangular outdoor space.
The app is available on all major devices and platforms.
