LAYTONSVILLE, Md. – Ruppert Landscape has announced the promotion of Tim Schofield to the position of financial analyst in the landscape management division.
A resident of Arlington, Virginia, Schofield began his career at Ruppert in early 2015 as a field manager in the Laytonsville landscape management branch, where he was quickly promoted to area manager. As an area manager, his hard work in the field and his ability to create lasting customer relationships and generate enhancement sales lead to him being honored with the company’s Branch Impact Award in 2016 for his outstanding contributions and dedication to the branch. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware, where he triple-majored in food and agribusiness marketing and management; landscape horticulture and design; and agriculture and natural resources. In his new position as financial analyst, he will support the division’s regional management team with an array of tasks ranging from business analysis to project management, all with a focus on providing insight and efficiency opportunities to our branch teams.
“This newly created position was designed to support our ongoing efforts to develop process improvements that will reduce unnecessary workload in the branches,” said Tom Barry, president of the landscape management division. “Tim’s strong work ethic, deep industry knowledge and analytic capabilities make him ideally suited for this position and we look forward to his contributions to the division.”
