Central Turf and Irrigation Supply opens branch

ELMSFORD, N.Y. – Central Turf and Irrigation Supply announced the opening of its new Mohegan Lake, N.Y. branch. The branch, located at 2711 Lexington Ave., Mohegan Lake, N.Y., complements the company’s existing greater New York metropolitan area store network and will further grow Central’s brand along the Northeast corridor.

Also announced is the new hire of Eddie Acevedo, who will serve as the new branch manager for the Mohegan Lake store. Mr. Acevedo has more than 15 years of experience in the landscape supply industry, and has held numerous leadership roles at other major wholesale landscape suppliers. “The wealth of experience that Eddie and his staff bring, along with their product knowledge and familiarity with the local marketplace, positions us well to deliver expert advice, as well as a full line of store products and an unsurpassed customer experience,” said Alan Edwards, senior executive vice president and CFO.
