Catherine Greener, vice president of sustainability for Xanterra Parks & Resorts, will deliver the keynote address at the opening session for the 10th annual WaterSmart Innovations Conference and Exposition, Wednesday, Oct. 4.
Greener joined Xanterra in September 2012 and is responsible for overseeing the company’s corporate environmental initiatives. She brings more than 25 years of experience in the implementation of sustainability, lean manufacturing, and quality management system to Xanterra.
Greener has applied her problem-solving skills, as well as her ISO 14000, Six-Sigma and ISO 9000 certifications, to lead sustainability and resource efficiency projects for small and large companies in industries ranging from food and beverage processing to automotive, chemical, semi-conductor, facility automation (robotics) and construction.
Greener holds a BS in industrial engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
