Hardscape North America enhances Distributor Program

Separate tracks for owners and managers will be offered at the 2011 session.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Hardscape North America’s (HNA) Distributor Program will be held Wednesday, Oct. 26 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, in downtown Louisville, Ky., the day before the opening of HNA 2011 and GIE+EXPO (the Green Industry & Equipment Expo). The program is geared towards helping dealer and distributor owners, managers and staff become more profitable in their hardscape businesses.

This year’s day-long program will feature:

  • More distributor speakers presenting on common business challenges
  • Industry-leading speakers, such as Ed Fioroni and Jim Paluch
  • Distinct tracks for both owners and managers giving participants valuable insights specific to them
  • A networking reception for participants, which will provide participants with additional opportunities to make beneficial connections and share best practices

Morning session topics include “The Pygmalion Effect: Managing the Power of Expectations,” “Customer Relationships Management,” “Small Company Marketing: A Lot of Creativity without A Lot of Cash” and “How to Use Email Marketing to Connect with Customers.”

Participants will choose between educational tracks for owners or managers and staff in the afternoon. Owners will participate in sessions on “Understanding Your Real Costs: Are You Pricing for Today or for the Long-Term” and “Proven & Profitable Materials and Inventory Management.” Managers and staff will hear discussions on “Selling from the ‘Why’ to Create Stellar Counter Sales Representatives” and “What’s New? How to Effectively Evaluate New Products for Your Business.” Each group will also have a panel discussion followed by a networking reception.

Registration for the Distributor Program is now open. Attendees who register before September 19th will receive an early-bird discount. The member (ICPI, NCMA or BIA) registration rate is $179 while the non-member rate is $229. After September 19th, the member registration rate is $229 and the non-member rate is $279. The price includes all Distributor Program sessions, Oct. 26, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., lunch, light refreshments and the new networking reception. As an added bonus, Distributor Program registration includes admission to the HNA and GIE+EXPO trade shows and the Hardscape Demonstrations in the HNA Outdoor Arena.

HNA and GIE+EXPO will run October 27-29 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.
