ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – ¬Heads Up Landscape Contractors recently donated more than $10,000 of materials and labor to complete the landscape for Erin’s Place, a project of Children’s Cancer Fund of New Mexico. Erin’s Place is a home away from home for children to receive pediatric hospice care when it is not available in their hometowns. At Erin’s Place in Albuquerque, a child receives end of life care in a peaceful, dignified atmosphere with their family around them.
“Heads Up donated some of the irrigation equipment and installation, as well as part of the labor for the installation of pavers and gravel, to help complete the courtyard and other common areas at Erin’s Place. We also discounted other materials and labor,” said Eddie Padilla, executive vice president. “There were many other companies in the area involved, including engineering, construction and utilities. We all came together to assist this worthy cause.”
