HERNDON, Va. – The National Association of Landscape Professionals (formerly PLANET) has announced that it will have a specialty-focused day on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, at LANDSCAPES 2015 (formerly the Green Industry Conference) in Louisville, Ky.
The LANDSCAPES 2015 convention provides more than 40 education sessions that complement GIE+EXPO and Hardscapes North America. In addition to bringing the top national landscape, lawn care and business speakers to the convention, LANDSCAPES 2015 will also host a specialty track day to enable lawn care, landscape maintenance, design/build and irrigation professionals to learn from and network with their peers.
Specialty day includes:
Breakfast with Champions networking tables with specialty-focused topics
Education sessions that focus on four specialties – Design/Build/Installation, Irrigation/Water Management, Landscape Management and Lawn Care
Evening receptions for each specialty group
The specialty sessions and receptions are included in the main registration fee. LANDSCAPES 2015 registration also includes admission to GIE+EXPO.
LANDSCAPES 2015 is approved for Landscape Industry Certified recertification at 1 CEU per hour of instruction attended. Certification exams are available on Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 1–5 p.m. Advance registration is required.
PGMS and HNA educational programs also qualify toward recertification. NALP educational sessions are also approved for LA CES. Please check laces.asla.org for more information.
