U.S. Lawns adds three employees

The new hires were made in the strategic accounts division.

ORLANDO, Fla. – U.S. Lawns made three new hires in its strategic accounts division based in Orlando.

Dominick Portoghese is one of two new strategic partnerships development managers. He has more than 30 years of experience in the commercial landscape maintenance industry, including 15 years in sales and business development. Previously, he held a variety of sales positions from field-level to vice president for TGLC, ISS/OneSource, Nanaks and Vila & Son.
 
Portoghese attended Seminole State College in Sanford, Fla., and holds several industry certifications. He resides in Lutz, Fla.

Mitchell Kerans is the second new strategic partnerships development manager. He worked for TruGreen Cos. for 22 years, including nine years in Florida as regional commercial sales manager. He received a bachelor’s degree from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Ga. He resides in Vero Beach.
Roxie Moore will provide administrative support in the strategic accounts division. Prior to joining U.S. Lawns, Moore was a contract coordinator for the southeast’s largest food service broker, where she managed contracts for national restaurant chains, school districts, government facilities and marine hotels.

Moore is currently enrolled at Seminole State College working toward an associate’s degree. She lives in Winter Springs, Fla., and volunteers as a classroom helper at a school for troubled children.

"Dominick, Mitchell and Roxie are great additions to our team and will help us grow by building our relationships with national customers," said Mike Dzurenko, U.S. Lawns director of strategic partnerships. “By assigning them to specific market segments, we believe Dominick and Mitchell will be better able to develop additional relationships through networking and specific industry knowledge.”
