HERNDON, Va. — The National Association of Landscape Professionals plans to introduce a day of specialty summits at this year’s LANDSCAPES 2017, the association’s annual education conference that is held in conjunction with GIE+EXPO Oct. 18-20 in Louisville, Kentucky.
The specialty summits will take place Oct. 18 at NALP’s headquarters hotel, the Downtown Louisville Marriott. Attendees may choose one of the three day-long summits (lawn care, landscape management or design/build/installation), which include four education sessions and a networking lunch.
The specialty summits will share case studies and strategies from landscape contractors and include education from industry consultants such as Jeffrey Scott, Phil Harwood, Real Green Systems, Bartlett Tree Experts and national experts from industry organizations like Houzz. Industry professionals can sign up for the specialty summits through the LANDSCAPES registration. Prices for the event on the day of education cost $189 for NALP members and $289 for non-members. Early registration discounts for the event end Sept. 18.
The Landscape Management Summit is sponsored by John Deere, the Design/Build/Installation Summit is sponsored by Caterpillar and the Lawn Care Summit is sponsored by UPG. In addition, LANDSCAPES 2017 is approved for Landscape Industry Certified recertification at 1 CEU per hour of instruction attended.
