Vista appoints three employees

Tim McKay will serve as district sales manager, Great Plains. McKay was formerly Vista’s district sales manager in the Colorado Rockies and has relocated to take on expanded responsibilities.

McKay will support the sales of Vista products in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Minnesota. His duties include collaborating with Vista’s distributors in the development and implementation of annual marketing plans and providing customer support to landscape lighting installers and designers. He also directs Vista’s educational programs for distributors and contractors.

McKay is a veteran of the landscape lighting business, with more than 20 years of experience.   In addition to two years with Vista, he was also a regional sales manager for Nightscaping, and he spent more than 11 years working in design, installation and maintenance of landscape lighting in a prominent contracting firm.

Will Seargeant has been named district sales manager, Mountain States.

Seargeant will support the sales of Vista products in Colorado, Utah, Southern Idaho and Wyoming. His duties will include collaborating with Vista’s distributors in the development and implementation of annual marketing plans and providing customer support to landscape lighting installers and designers. He will also direct Vista’s educational programs for distributors and contractors.

“Will Seargent’s background in professional training makes him ideally suited for a role where he will be educating industry professionals on the newest lighting technology like LED,” said Rick Baird, Vista’s national sales manager. “He will work hard to help his customers take advantage of the exciting developments in Vista’s product line.”

Brandon Kelly has been named district sales manager, Southwest Region. Kelly was previously the district technical specialist in the Southwest Region.

Kelly will support the sales of Vista products throughout the state of Arizona. His duties include collaborating with Vista’s distributors in the development and implementation of annual marketing plans and providing customer support to landscape lighting installers and designers. He also will direct Vista’s educational programs for distributors and contractors.

Kelly brings experience in the landscape industry to his new role. During his time as Vista’s technical specialist, he was responsible for hundreds of training events for distributors, contractors, and architects. He also contributed to the design of numerous commercial and residential lighting projects. Prior to joining Vista, Kelly directed landscape lighting design and installation for a large landscape contracting firm in Arizona. Kelly is a graduate of the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina and also studied at the University of Newcastle in Australia.
