LAYTONSVILLE, Md. – Ruppert Landscape has announced the promotion of Collins Fitts to the position of branch manager in the company’s Gainesville Landscape Management Branch.
Fitts, who has worked for Ruppert for nearly five years as an area manager, brings over 16 years of industry experience to the company. He worked as a field manager, area manager and finally operations manager at another industry organization before joining the Ruppert ranks. Fitts attended North Carolina State University and is a North Carolina licensed Landscape Contractor, Irrigation Contractor and Pesticide Applicator. In 2012, Fitts was honored with a Branch Impact Award for his outstanding contributions and dedication to the organization. As branch manager, he will be responsible for the overall welfare of the branch including the safety and development of his team, strategic planning and budgeting, training and day-to-day operations.
“Collins’ wealth of industry experience and his proven dedication and management capabilities made him an obvious choice for branch manager,” says Fred Key, regional vice president of the Landscape Management Division. “We look forward to his leadership and team building as he grows the Gainesville branch.”
