ILCA accepts 2018 awards applications

Illinois-based landscape contractors can reward their teams by submitting a nomination for the 2018 ILCA Excellence in Landscape Awards program.

The ILCA Awards program recognizes the best landscapes in the region with merit, silver and gold awards given for the following seven categories: commercial landscape construction, residential landscape construction, commercial landscape maintenance, residential landscape maintenance, specialty element, special event and ecological planting. ILCA also recognizes the following honors:

• Decade honors: The property has been continuously maintained for 10 years.
• Heritage honors: The property has been continuously maintained for five years.
• Sustainable honors: The property is installed and maintained using sustainable methods.

Winning projects can be featured on ILCA’s new Houzz page. Award winners also gain extra exposure on ILCA’s website and are featured in the photo gallery on the consumer side of the website. Award winners are listed by year, category, award, company and project name on the professional side fot he website, as well. In addition, winners of the 2018 Excellence in Landscape Awards program can display an icon for the award on their online member profile on both the consumer and professional side.

Winners will be announced and recognized during iLandscape at an Awards Night on Feb. 1, 2018. The deadline for early registration is Oct. 9 and costs $300, and the deadline for late registration is Oct. 23 and costs $400. All applicants must be ILCA members.
