MOONACHIE, New Jersey - BULBRITE President Cathy Choi has been nominated for the "Residential Lighting" 2010 Industry Leadership Award. BULBRITE is a supplier of energy efficient light source solutions and is a resource for lamping technology. The award is presented at the American Lighting Association Conference held in September.
Choi has expanded sales and service to a broader lighting showroom and distributor base throughout North America. She has also helped expand the breadth of the company's product line, which includes energy efficient light sources and other types of light bulbs.
In an effort to provide better customer service, she has required BULBRITE's entire customer service, sales and operations teams to receive certifications from the ALA (American Lighting Association). She has also upgraded the company's website as an educational resource, and has created educational materials and training programs on energy efficient light sources, lamping technology and applications.
Choi is an ALA certified Lighting Specialist (LS), and an officer of the ALA Education Foundation Board. She is also a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA).
