Dealers can pick and choose from a variety of education opportunities during this year’s GIE+EXPO to customize their learning.
Beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 18 – Dealer Day – the People, Process, Profit Dealer Boot Camp will include four sessions led by Bob Clements and his team in the Dealer Resource Center. Running concurrently, the UTV University sessions will be packed with tools and tips from proven powersports dealer training specialists. Both tracks are included with trade show registration, so dealers can customize their learning by choosing sessions from each track. Or, dealers who bring their team can split up and take in all sessions.
Following these sessions, acclaimed author and expert economist Alan Beaulieu will deliver the Dealer Day keynote address. Beaulieu has delivered economic analysis seminars to thousands of business owners and executives for the last 25 years.
In his GIE+EXPO session titled “A Good Year Ahead,” Beaulieu will help attendees understand the complexities of economic information, explain the current economy, and translate that into what it means for businesses today. The “Kick-Off” keynote will begin at 1:30 on Oct. 18.
New this year, a series of ten 30-minute workshops for dealers will occur in the Dealer Resource Center throughout the three days of GIE+EXPO. These free sessions will be presented by experts from the Bob Clements team, Equipment Dealers Association and United Equipment Dealers Association. Topics covered include expense control ideas and strategies, establishing labor rates, online purchasing, digital marketing and visual merchandising.
Also in the Dealer Resource Center, Technician Training and Certification will be offered through the Equipment & Engine Training Council, and dealers will have an exclusive lounge area.
Before the show floor opens on Thursday and Friday, dealers will have the opportunity start the day with valuable management tips from Bob Clements and his team in free hour-long Power-Up sessions. Topics will include best management practices and establishing a culture for your dealership.
And don’t miss the LatinoLinkTM Dealer Day Breakfast presented by the National Hispanic Landscape Alliance, 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18.
GIE+EXPO begins Wednesday, Oct. 18 for dealers and Oct. 19-20 for other industry participants.
