Buy Sod acquires Thomas Bros. Grass

PINEHURST, N.C. – Buy Sod has announced the acquisition of Thomas Bros. Grass located in Nashville, Tennessee. 

“Nashville is a growing market with good long-term population growth and a healthy housing market,” said Charles Harris, president of Buy Sod. “We are also excited to bring our specialty products to the golf and athletic market. Our purchase of Thomas Bros. fits right into our strategy of expanding to growing markets where we think our quality and high-service model can bring value to customers. Thomas Bros. Grass started in the Nashville market in 1986 and most recently returned in 2011. The transaction is scheduled to close by October 1.
