Ballistic glasses keep eyes safe

BETHEL, Conn. - Elvex Corp. has developed safety glasses that meet the U.S. Military's ballistic Vo rating. Safety glasses that meet the U.S. Military’s ballistic Vo rating have to pass a high velocity shot that is four times the velocity required by ANSI X87.1-2010. The ANSI impact speed is 150 feet/second, while the military speed is 640-660 feet/minute.
