LOS ANGELES — VariThrow has developed a sprinkler that is water efficient and has 1/10th of the installation costs of a traditional pop-up sprinkler system.
A single VariThrow sprinkler does the work of up to 16 or more pop-up sprinkler heads. Plus, because a VariThrow sprinkler typically installs in less than one hour, installation cost is dramatically reduced from the normal 8-16 or more hours it would take to tear up your lawn and install 16 pop-up sprinklers.
As the VariThrow sprinkler head rotates, the water spray distance (called
“throw”) is constantly self-adjusting to spray water only where you tell it
- spraying the exact shape of your lawn. There’s little to no water over-spray onto sidewalks, driveways or cars.
Once installed next to your house, in the landscaping, or in shrubbery, just set the variable-throw water-adjustment cam to water your exact lawn shape. As the sprinkler head rotates, the precision brass ball valve automatically delivers the exact amount of water to the replaceable spray head and out to your grass lawn, according to your settings. Additionally, the durable outer casing can be recessed as low as you desire into the ground and the removable top makes the unit easily serviceable.
Since the VariThrow sprinklers water the exact shape of each section of your grass lawn, a house with a sidewalk dividing the lawn usually requires only two VariThrow sprinklers — one for each section of grass lawn. And they can spray water around corners to cover adjoining front and side sections of your yard.
