NJLCA accepting scholarship applications

The New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association is now accepting applications for 2010-11 scholarships. The scholarship committee must receive the application packet no later than Oct. 15.

Consideration for a scholarship will be given to:

Any active member of the NJLCA as well as their spouse, children, grandchildren or stepchildren who will be enrolled as a full-time student during the 2010-11 school year at a college or institution of higher learning.

Any student at Bergen Community College in Paramus N.J. in a course study related to the “green industry.”

Students enrolled at Rutgers University may apply, but must fill out an alternate scholarship application packet, which has a deadline of Sept. 15. Contact the NJLCA at 201-703-3600 for this packet.
