KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Thieves made off with a teen's lawn mowing equipment.
KMBC's Lara Moritz reported that the theft happened near 78th Street and Congress Avenue while Kyle Fiest was at school.
"I came home from school about 3:45 p.m. and the lock was broken with a sledgehammer," Fiest said.
Fiest, 16, said he planned on mowing lawns after school. Fiest's business is called Kuttin' Kyle's Lawn and Landscape. He said he started the business on his own, long before he could drive.
"The trailer was backed up against the wall here so the mowers could not be taken off," Fiest said.
Two commercial grade mowers, a back-pack blower, weed eater, tools and the trailer were gone, Moritz reported.
