HERNDON, Va. – PLANET, the national landscape industry trade association, announces that Greg Schwem will be the keynote speaker at the Green Industry Conference (GIC) which is held in conjunction with GIE+EXPO and Hardscape North America, Oct. 23-25, in Louisville, Ky.
Schwem takes a humorous and insightful look at the 21st century workplace and the challenges of maintaining a work/life balance. He has been featured on SIRIUS Radio, FOX News, Comedy Central, and in Parents Magazine. He writes a weekly humor column that is nationally distributed by Tribune Media Services and the Huffington Post. He is also the author of the book “Text Me If You’re Breathing: Observations, Frustrations and Life Lessons from a Low-Tech Dad”.

PLANET’s keynote speaker kicks off the conference which includes 30 education sessions, a new Learning Lounge that will feature more than a dozen 20-minute Power Talks, and a Genius Bar where industry experts will be available to answer attendee questions, and networking. GIC registration also includes admission to GIE+EXPO, the largest landscape industry and outdoor equipment show in the United States, as well as the Hardscape North America show.
