HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The president and founder of Dukes Landscape Management, Eric Cross, has earned a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Associate Designation, awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). A LEED Professional Credential provides building owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.
Cross adds the LEED Green Associate Credential to his other designation: Landscape Industry Certified Manager. He uses the knowledge obtained from his certification preparation in his daily business practices, by offering water conservation audits and promoting sustainable programs to his clients. He also has plans to break ground on a LEED certified building to house the Dukes Landscape Management Headquarters in the next 12 months.
