On the anniversary of 9/11, we look at how landscapers have honored those lost.


In remembrance of Sept. 11 and the people affected by the attacks, below is a collection of articles published in Lawn & Landscape, highlighting companies that have reached out and given their time and effort to honor those lost.

In May, The Davey Tree Expert Company donated staff and equipment to help volunteers from the Friends of Flight 93 National Memorial prune and care for more than 1,500 trees that were planted at the Memorial Groves in honor of the passengers and crew of Flight 93. Click here to read this story.
 
In 2012, EP Henry partnered with Rowan University to construct a new, on-campus memorial in honor of the victims of the 9/11 attacks. The dedication of the memorial, which was designed by engineering student, Patrick Lynch, marked the 11th anniversary. Click here to read this story.
