SUN VALLEY, Ca. – Pacific Outdoor Living is sponsoring Children’s Day 2011, an annual charity event against gangs. Pacific Outdoor Living will be showcasing a beautiful outdoor living space valued over $40,000, which will include a working pond, pergola, paving stones and artificial turf. There will also be educational demonstrations on how each product is installed in order to show kids and teens other options in life besides gangs and crime.
“For over a decade the amount of gang members in San Fernando Valley has been on the rise,” said Terry Morrill, company owner and philanthropist. “I feel that it is the responsibility of every community member, especially the influential business owners, to do everything in their power to stop these numbers from growing. This is why I fully support the 4th annual Children’s Day event.”
Children’s Day will be held Saturday, Sept. 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Woodley Park – 6335 Woodley Ave, Van Nuys, CA 91406.
