Mainscape’s Greg Goddard, irrigation operations manager, and Derick Scott, senior irrigation technician, have earned certified landscape irrigation auditor status from the Irrigation Association.
In order to achieve the auditor classification, candidates must pass a three-hour written examination and successfully complete a field audit. As CLIAs Goddard and Scott are trained to statistically audit the performance of an irrigation system and make recommendations on how to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of an irrigation system. These recommendations help clients reduce irrigation water consumption and save money through better irrigation.
With this accomplishment, Goddard and Scott join only 68 other irrigation professionals to earn the CLIA designation in the state of Florida.
Mainscape, based in Indianapolis, provides landscape maintenance and snow removal in 10 states and operates multiple branches throughout Florida.
