The Illinois Landscape Contractors Association (ILCA) is looking for volunteers for a handful of upcoming events in the next few months.
ILCA is looking for English- and Spanish-speaking basic pruning trainers
This year’s Pruning Workshop is Nov. 17 at Schaumburg Boomers Baseball Park – 1999 Springinsguth Road, Schaumburg, IL 60193. Your knowledge is needed to monitor attendees doing hands-on pruning on both trees and/or shrubs per the lecture presented. You can monitor a group in Spanish (morning) or English (afternoon) or both, if you are bilingual. Complimentary lunch and beverages included for trainers.

ILCA's Education Committee is looking for volunteers for iLandscape
The Education Committee is looking for volunteer assistance for the iLandscape education program Feb. 1-3, 2017 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center and Hotel. The Education Committee is in need of many volunteers to work behind the scenes to make the education program run smoothly. In exchange for your help, you will receive a complimentary educational pass for all three days and a tradeshow pass.

Many of you have been training others in your company for a long time. You have specific skills you can share with the ILCA membership. ILCA is looking for English- and Spanish-speaking people willing to present general skills at ILCA’s “Field Staff Skills Training,” March 16-17, 2017 at College of Lake County in Grayslake. Complimentary event registration, lunch and beverages for presenters.
