Merit Service Solutions adds board member

PHILADELPHIA – Eureka Growth Capital announced that its portfolio company Exterior Maintenance Resources Incorporated dba Merit Service Solutions appointed Harry J. Carpenter, an industry veteran, to its board of directors. Eureka Growth Capital is a private equity firm targeting niche market leaders with up to $75 million in revenue, and Merit Service Solutions serves as a national provider of outsourced exterior facilities management services.

Carpenter recently served as president of the landscape maintenance division at BrightView Corporation, a national provider of landscape design, construction and maintenance services, and a KKR portfolio company. Prior to joining BrightView, Carpenter spent more than 25 years at Aramark, most recently serving as president and COO of the company’s business and industry market sector. Carpenter’s other leadership roles at Aramark included senior vice president, CFO of North American Food, hospitality and facility services and senior vice president, and CFO of Aramark’s healthcare and education group.
