Cleveland -- Garick, a distributor, processor and recycler of sustainable natural resources, has named two executives and three associates to its team.
Enrico Varricchio was named chief financial officer and will oversee all aspects of the company's accounting, financial reporting and tax compliance areas. His 30-year career includes 11 years of experience in public accounting as an audit manager, serving as chief accounting officer of a $100 million medical device company and CFO of a wholesale distributor.
Garick appointed Kim Eger its new vice president of retail lawn and garden sales. Eger will be responsible for the lawn and garden national retail accounts and will focus on business growth in that area. Eger has more than a decade of growing media and adjacent category experience and has held leadership roles, such as CEO and vice president of sales for multiple organic firms. His most recent role in the lawn and garden category was as national director of the DSM Team for Scotts MiracleGro.

Also announced to the team this week was John Katlen, sales engineer; Anita Silvestro, IT support; Dino Trinetti, operations manager.
Katlen will be responsible for light weight aggregation sales in the construction industry for Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, New York, Michigan, Indiana and Canada. His 42-year career includes 30 years of concrete research and development of liquid admixtures and repair products for a nationwide admixture company.
Silvestro's duties will include daily IT support, troubleshooting and maintenance of Garick's network and computer systems. She brings to the company 18 years of experience in the IT industry.
As operations manager, Trinetti will manage operations of the Biomass and Yard Materials Recycling Facility in Topeka, Kan. During his career, he has owned and operated several facilities servicing the lawn, garden and construction industries.
