PLANET organized its fourth annual PLANET Gives Back in Louisville, Ky. Aproximately 75 PLANET member volunteers spent the afternoon volunteering their time and expertise to downtown Louisville.
Volunteers spent the day landscaping the grounds of Meyzeek Middle school, building a rain garden at YouthBuild Louisville and installing trees at St. Vincent de Paul. All of this is part of a neighborhood revitalization that PLANET helped to contribute to.
“We are pleased to continue our community service efforts in downtown Louisville for the fourth annual PLANET Gives Back,” said Mike Mason, PLANET Gives Back project manager. “This opportunity allows PLANET members to not only beautify another community, but also showcase their skills, enhance the environment, and solidify partnerships with community organizations.”
