This comprehensive pruning seminar is for any public or private sector professional who tends to trees and shrubs. Whether you choose to subcontract some of those services, or provide them in-house, it is critical to stay informed about proper pruning techniques and practices. Attendees will be taught by professionals in the landscape and tree care industries using hands-on methods as well as classroom instruction.
 
The half-day classes will be taught in Spanish (a.m.) or English (p.m.). Register early and assure yourself a seat for one of these classes. Class size is limited to 50 participants. This course will sell-out as many municipalities, companies and agencies send multiple employees.
 
Class includes safety and dormant pruning lectures and trainer supervised hands-on pruning. 
• Improve and practice your pruning skills.
• Learn how to properly prune trees and shrubs.
• Understand cleaning, thinning, raising and reduction
• Know the proper tools to use and proper safety procedures.
• Identify the parts of a tree or shrub.
• Identify where proper cuts should be made and the effect it will make on future growth.
• Learn the difference between renewal and rejuvenation pruning.
