The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers has released its first draft of the proposed ANSI/ASABE S623 standard for Determining Landscape Plant Water Requirements.
The standard describes a methodology to estimate net plant water requirements of permanently installed and established landscape plant materials. The standard will provide guidance for the minimum water requirements for acceptable plant appearance and function.
