Intelligro expands on Civitas WEEDFREE Brand Concentrate

The product is now approved for use in California.

In 2015, Intelligro launched Civitas WEEDFree Brand Concentrate. For 2016, the company is expanding on it, because the premise is to provide an efficacious, but more sustainable product, and they've realized people in the industry don't fully understand what that means.

"It's kind of ironic, because we are the green industry and who better than the green industry to be a voice," said Judy Guido, business growth expert and spokesperson for Intelligro.

Most people say sustainability has to do with the environment, but Guido points out that's only about a third of it. The company is also focusing on creating programs that support a greener environment.

Another point Intelligro made for 2016 was that Civitas is now approved for use in California, which Guido said means the product has met some of the strictest environmental requirement.

Intelligro has also implemented a distributor training program to answer a question frequently asked: "how do I integrate CIVITAS into my IPM program?"

The program was recently piloted by Warren Gorowitz, head of sustainability at Ewing, will help both distributors and customers understand product integration. They will also be able to provide market insights into trends, growth, competitive activity and regulations.
