LOUISVILLE, Ky. – At the 2016 GIE+EXPO, Toro launched its new line of Titan HD zero-turn mowers.
To improve productivity, the Titan HD series features tool-mounting brackets, allowing contractors to transport tools, including string trimmers, 5-gallon buckets and other yard tools.
“We’re always looking for ways to improve productivity and add value for both acreage owners and professional contractors,” said Chris Vogtman, Toro marketing manager. “By incorporating the new tool-mounting feature, operators can have the equipment they rely on securely attached to the Titan HD mower.”
The new models have deluxe suspension seats, isolated floor pan design, deck step guide, easy side and front mower access, and a 12-volt outlet accompanied by deep storage pockets. Easy-to-use, commercial-grade hydraulics provide a smooth, powerful response, and also minimize maintenance requirements, the company says.
Titan HD mowers feature Toro’s Turbo Force decks up to 60 inches wide, and can be equipped with engines from Toro, Kohler and Kawasaki.
Also at the show, Toro unveiled a new model of Mutli-Force platform specifically for snow removal. The Multi Force platform, introduced last year, combines the mowing ability of a stand-on mower with multiple attachments.
The new unit comes equipped with Toro’s Flex-Ride operator platform designed to reduce operator fatigue. The Flex-Ride operator platform is self-compensating to accommodate operators of different sizes. The snow-only model can be equipped with a five-foot Boss snowplow, comes standard with winter tires and has optional light and flasher kits to increase visibility.
