Yardmax unveiled a handful of new products at GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Kentucky. The company has been manufacturing products for 18 years oversees, but 2016 marks its launch as a new brand in the U.S.
As a log splitter manufacturer first, Vice-President Shad Shafer said customers can trust their hydraulic systems, which they’ve incorporated into other products.
One of their new products for the professional contractor line is the single-stage snow thrower, which was created for the small to medium contractor. At 18 inches wide, it can clear snow up to 11 inches deep. The chute can rotate 180 degrees via an on-chute handle, allowing contractors to easily change the direction the snow is shooting.
The company also unveiled a two-stage snow thrower, which can plow through snow over one foot deep. The two-stage features heated hand grips for operator comfort, as well as a cup holder and an LED headlight.
Yardmax also announced two log splitters: a full beam and a half beam.
The company’s log splitters feature a U-beam design, which is good for twisting, which logs do when they’re split. They also feature a spinner foot plate, which naturally turns with the twisting logs.
