KENT, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Company has announced the promotion of Auxilio “Chilo” Tovar to district manager of the Chicago territory of The Care of Trees, a Davey company.
Tovar started with The Care of Trees (TCOT) in 2002 as a groundman. He has held a variety of positions, including production manager in the Crystal Lake TCOT office. In 2013 he was promoted to assistant district manager of the Chicago TCOT office.
“Chilo’s 13 years of experience are rooted in Davey’s field operations, so, in terms of quality service, clients will benefit from his keen understanding of the responsibilities of the various field positions,” said Bill Whitmire, vice president, north central operations, residential/commercial services.
Tovar is an International Society of Arboriculture certified arborist. He is a 2013 graduate of the Davey Institute of Tree Sciences, which is Davey’s flagship training program in biological sciences, safety, tree and plant care and management techniques.
