TROY, N.Y. – Gallivan Corp., a family-owned, award-winning landscape design, construction, and management firm based out of Troy, N.Y., acquired Northern Landscape Services located in Pownal, Vt. The purchase includes all assets and real estate owned by Northern Landscape Services. Financial terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
Located near Williamstown, Mass., Northern Landscape Services has been servicing homeowners and businesses in The Berkshires since 1994. All current employees will remain and in the coming months, Gallivan Corp. will hire additional workers to support its projected growth and make significant upgrades to vehicles, equipment, office space and the facility located in Pownal, Vt.
The company will operate initially as Gallivan Corp. and Northern Landscape Services.
