Fockele Garden employee receives certification

GAINESVILLE, Ga. – The Fockele Garden Co.’s Maintenance Manager Brad Mitchell has received PLANET’s Landscape Industry Certified Lawn Care Manager certification.

To earn the national certification, Mitchell passed exams covering the principles of warm-and cool-season turf grass establishment, growth, maintenance and troubleshooting. Mitchell also had to show a thorough understanding essential turf grass management practices and procedures that are standard in the green industry.

Mitchell, who joined The Fockele Garden Company in 2007, is in charge of the day-to-day maintenance operation, customer relations, instruction in horticulture and maintenance, and company-wide safety training. He manages more than 100 properties across four states.
