FRESNO, Calif. – Netafim USA has built the Techline EZ, a 12mm drip line for “looped” on-surface irrigation installations.
Designed for labor-savings, Techline EZ irrigates a 1,800 square-foot shrub or planting area with one roll of 12mm Netafim tubing and two fittings that include a Low Volume Control Zone Kit and Line Flushing Valve. Dripper spacings are placed at 12 and 18 inches for uniform water application to the root zones.
Techline EZ’s single on-surface looped layout can be installed within an hour and “disappears” into the landscape with mulch or ground cover.
Techline EZ is manufactured from the same linear low-density polyethylene tubing as Netafim’s Techline CV. Techline EZ contains a minimum of 25 percent post-consumer recycled materials and Netafim offers drip products that qualify for LEED credits.
Techline EZ incorporates similar features as Techline CV to ensure reliable operation in all harsh conditions, including:
• Dripper spacings at 12 and 18 inches for uniform water application.
• Continuous self-flushing to eliminate debris throughout the entire operation, not just at the beginning or end of a cycle.
• Pressure compensation that delivers equal amounts of water over a broad pressure range, from 6 to 50 psi.
• Anti-siphon emitters and physical root barriers.
Techline EZ can be connected to a previously-installed 17mm Techline CV system and has the same dripper flow rates: 0.26, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.9 gph.
