The Irrigation Association has announced the nominees for its board of directors.
All regular and affiliate organization members will vote this month for IA’s next vice president, treasurer and four open board positions.
The process began in May with an open call for nominations from the general membership. The Directors Nominating Committee, which is comprised of contractor, consultant and manufacturer segment representatives, then reviewed the application and references of all 15 applicants. The DNC determined the nominees below to ensure the board is balanced and representative of the entire IA membership.

Vice president:
Bob Dobson, CID, CIC, EPA WaterSense Partner (Contractor) – president, Middletown Sprinkler Co. (Port Monmouth, N.J.)
Treasurer:
Warren Thoma (Manufacturers’ Rep.) – president, Warren Thoma & Associates (Crystal Lake, Ill.)
Directors:
Greg Hunter (Manufacturer) – executive vice president of marketing, Hunter Industries (San Marcos, Calif.)
Todd Magatagan, CLIA, CGIA, CIC, CID, CAIS, CLWM, Texas licensed irrigator, EPA WaterSense Partner (Contractor) – owner, Around the Grounds (The Woodlands, Texas)
Aric Olson, CAIS (Manufacturer) – president, Jain Irrigation (Fresno, Calif.)
