Irrigation Systems: Design and Installation

This 4-day irrigation system training course will cover all of the steps involved in designing and installing an irrigation system. Through a combination of classroom instruction, visual examples, hands-on exercises and demonstrations of state-of-the-art troubleshooting technology, you will learn how to lay out an irrigation system from beginning to end. Landscape Plants: Identification, Selection and Application

Over the course of 11 weeks, this class will teach you more than you ever knew about landscape plants, and you'll love every minute of it. Through hands-on plant identification walks, comprehensive classroom lectures and online instructional tools, lead instructor Steve Kristoph will teach you how to identify landscape plants on the properties you manage and select the right plant for the right site and the right purpose. Landscape Design I: The Basics

In this eight-week landscape design training course, instructor Roy DeBoer, Jr. will take the mystery out of the design process and lay out the sequential steps for planning a perfect landscape. From the basics of bubble diagrams to the complexity of major site installations, you'll learn how to do it right from someone who has done it all. Athletic Field Maintenance and Construction
February 16-17, 2016
8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
In this two-day course, students will get in-depth training on the proper techniques for maintaining and protecting all types of athletic field surfaces. In addition, this course will cover important off-the-field topics, such as budgeting and handling safety and legal issues. The instructors provide a balanced, comprehensive curriculum that is informed by both scholarly research and years of real-world, practical experience.
