TAMPA, Fla. – Contractors who take Black Diamond Coatings’ BDC PRO Certification Program on properly sealing masonry surfaces will now be awarded 2.5 credits toward annual required goals for Certified Installer continuing education.
The ability to provide continuing education credits stems from a new certification, which was granted by the Interlocking Concrete Paving Institute (ICPI).
“We are excited about our ability to provide contractors the resources to remain current on their certifications while providing important information regarding proper sealing techniques and application information within the hardscape industry,” said David Warren, president of Black Diamond Coatings.
This program is a result of contractors requesting additional educational information regarding proper sealing techniques, joint stabilization strategies and other pressing topics within the hardscape industry. The paver sealer company was founded by Warren, a former contractor for more than a decade. “If contractors have a question, more than likely we’ve been there before and can provide the educational support they need to get the job done efficiently,” he said.
According to icpi.org, “Continual exposure to information about new technologies and products provided by experts in the industry is a key part of effective professional development.”
Interested contractors can learn more about Black Diamond Coatings’ BDC PRO program on the Get Educated page located at BlackDiamondCoatings.com. There is one more BDC PRO class scheduled in 2015, on Dec. 4 in Pompano Beach, Florida. Class dates for 2016 will be announced soon.
