FORT MYERS, Fla. – R.S. Walsh Landscaping announces that landscape architect Bob Melzer has joined the full-service landscape design-build company.
“We are excited to add Bob to our team,” said Robert Walsh, owner. “He has a passion for the landscape profession and is a proven leader with deep roots in Southwest Florida. He brings a unique approach to design and aesthetics no matter the size or scope of the project.”
Melzer is a native of Peekskill, New York but was raised in Central Florida. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture with highest honors from the University of Florida in 2000 and received his license as a registered landscape architect in the state of Florida in 2006. He has worked in Southwest Florida for more than 16 years, mostly in the field of design-build, but also has experience in community planning designs and commercial landscape designs through the state of Florida.
Melzer has won several Collier Building Association Sand Dollar Awards and Design Firm of the Year awards. He is the past chairman of the Estero Design Review Committee and local chapter of The American Society of Landscape Architecture.
