CHICAGO, Ill. – The ECHO CS-590 Timber Wolf chainsaw recently was awarded Power Equipment Trade magazine’s Dealers Choice Award in the handheld product category. More than 1,000 lawn and garden power equipment dealers participated in the survey, voting on their favorite product in five categories.
The CS-590 Timber Wolf is ECHO’s general purpose saw. Positioned within the popular 55-60cc semi-pro chainsaw segment, the ECHO Timber Wolf is targeted to the large landowner, farmer, rancher, firewood cutter and homeowner. Its professional construction and features provide high performance, easy starting, simple operation and quick maintenance. Available in 18 inch and 20 inch bar lengths, the CS-590 is powered by a 59.8cc professional-grade engine.
The Dealers Choice Awards were announced the last day of the Green Industry Equipment Expo (GIE+EXPO) held Oct. 22-24 in Louisville, Ky. The Dealers Choice Awards cover lawn and garden products and services in five categories: Accessory/Attachment, Business Management Services, Handheld, Industrial/Engine, and Wheeled. Power Equipment Trade magazine solicited product nominations from all GIE+EXPO exhibitors and selected up to five finalists in each category. Power Equipment Trade dealer readers and other qualified dealers participated through an on-line ballot system and also voted in person at the show. Editor Dan Shell reports this year as being the largest ballot casting in the nine years of the survey.
Since 2006, ECHO has introduced 16 new saws to the market. All ECHO chain saws are covered by a one-year commercial warranty and five-year consumer warranty. To learn more, visit www.echo-usa.com
