HESSTON, Kan. – Hustler Turf Equipment is pleased to announce and welcome Rod Smith as the company’s new regional sales manager who will be responsible for sales from Illinois through New England.
Smith brings 20 years experience as President & CEO of Stull Enterprises, an industry-leading distributor of outdoor power equipment. He gained considerable expertise in the zero-turn market, having distributed the Bob-Cat, Bunton, Encore and Hustler Brands. Smith also directed Stull’s successful entry into the golf and turf maintenance equipment industry with the Ransomes, Cushman and Ryan product lines and expanded the business into North Carolina. During Smith’s tenure at Stull Enterprises, the business was the nation’s largest distributor of Lawn-Boy Mowers until the acquisition by Toro, earned the “Best Distributor on Earth” Award for every year that BCS America presented the award, and pioneered the Husqvarna and PowerPruner brands from Virginia to New York.
Smith has served on the Board of Directors of the Outdoor Power Equipment Distributors Association (currently OPEESA), and was elected its President in 1997-1998.
