HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Duke’s Landscape Management announced it was recently awarded the No Vehicle Accident Award, No Days away from Work Award, and Overall Safety Achievement Award – Gold Standard Level in PLANET’s annual Safety Recognition Awards Program, sponsored by CNA. The program reflects PLANET’s dedication to creating and maintaining safe work environments in the green industry and it’s designed to reward green industry companies that consistently demonstrate their commitment to safety.
“Our employee’s safety and well being is a top priority here at Duke’s,” said Tanya King, Duke’s HR Manager and Safety Director. “Our employees give 100 percent when they walk through our doors each morning and I believe that we owe it to them and their families to ensure they can go home healthy and happy each evening. We spend significant time and resources promoting safe work habits and appreciate PLANET’s acknowledgement, through these three awards, of our efforts in making safety a priority in our day to day business.”
Companies that enter PLANET’s Safety Recognition Awards Program are required to submit a copy of their OSHA 300A Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses report and their year-end vehicle insurance claims summary report. These reports are used in determining award recipients. All award recipients are to be congratulated for their superior dedication to safety excellence.
