Miami – Juan Carlos Vila, CEO of Vila & Son Landscaping Corp. joined dignitaries, celebrities and community leaders in the long awaited ribbon cutting ceremony of the Miami Fisher House.
Fisher House is a private-public partnership supporting the country’s military families by providing “comfort homes” built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers. These homes enable family members to be close to their loved ones during hospital stays at little to no cost.
Vila & Son is one of the nation’s largest, privately owned Hispanic landscape companies, and has donated a total of $125,000 through its charitable event, the Vila & Son Annual Golf Classic, to this great cause.
“During these challenging economic times, more than ever, organizations need to prioritize their expenditures, but it is essential not to lose focus of what is really important,” Vila said. “What better way to say ‘Thank you’ to the brave men and woman that sacrifice daily for our freedom, than to support this great cause; it is our duty.”
