HERNDON, Va.,- The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has launched the Lawn and Landscape Products Coalition website USCClawnandlandscapecoalition.com. The website is intended to provide consumers, lawn and landscape professionals, health care professionals, scientists, legislators and school officials with information on the health, environmental, and economic issues associated with lawn and landscape products.
The Professional Landcare Network congratulated the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on the launch.
“For a long time, the industry and the public have been trying to find credible scientific research data on the impact of lawn care and landscape products on public health and the environment.” said Tom Delaney, PLANET director of government affairs. “This website will finally be able to provide sound, scientific information.”
PLANET is a member of the Lawn and Landscape Products Coalition, which was developed to create a clearinghouse of information regarding environmental and human health issues associated with lawn and landscape products.
