FORT MYERS, Fla. – A former employee is suing Simon's Lawn Care Inc. and AJ Simon, alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Robert Lenox filed a complaint on Nov. 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against the defendants, alleging that they failed to compensate him properly for overtime hours.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he performed maintenance duties for the defendant and worked more than 40 hours per week, but was not paid an overtime premium, a violatiion of the wage law.
