Deanna Griffith has joined Jacobsen, a Textron company, as marketing manager with responsibility for the Americas and Asia Pacific. She will report to Martin Levy, vice president sales and marketing.
Griffith has been recruited from Exact Software Americas, based in Boston, Mass., where she was the senior marketing manager for the Americas, promoting and marketing multiple brands and product lines for the business software solutions company. She joined Exact in 2001 and following several promotions relocated to the Boston area in 2008.
Her previous career positions included director of marketing at Forsythe Championship Racing, a competitor in the Champ Car World Series; manager of corporate sponsorship marketing at LCI International, a major telecommunications company; and manager of national sponsorship marketing at Qwest Communications.
In all of these positions, Griffith has delivered marketing and sales promotion campaigns that have achieved positive revenue growth and increased market awareness within multiple business sectors. She earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Bowling Green State University, Ohio. She relocated to Charlotte, N.C., in October 2009.
“Deanna’s proven track record in campaign strategy and management will be vital as Jacobsen continues to introduce innovative products to the golf and municipality markets,” said Levy. “We’re delighted she’s joined the team to lead our marketing efforts.”
