NJLCA conference to take place

The 38th annual trade show and conference will be held in Feb.

SECAUCUS, N.J. – The New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association (NJLCA) proudly announces its 38th annual trade show and conference, Landscape New Jersey 2015. The Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey will once again be the site for this Green Industry marketplace and educational conference. The show is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015 and show time is from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pre-registration fee is $20.00 for NJLCA members, $30.00 for non-members, or $30.00 for members, $40.00 for non-members on the day of the show. New Jersey Landscape 2015 will feature over 150 companies displaying the newest products, equipment, materials and services.
 
This year, NJLCA is bringing Mardi Gras to the Meadowlands, which will offer great fun and huge prizes to attendees. Vendors will infuse their booths with the spirit of Mardi Gras.
 
The DEP Pesticide Recertification Session is free to NJLCA members and an additional $30.00 to non-members. NJ Credits available: CORE - 2, 3A Ornamentals - 3, 3B Turf - 2, PP2 (Private Applicator) - 3, 13 IPM in Schools - 1. NY Credits available: CORE - .25, 3a Ornamental and Turf - 1.75, 3b Turf - 1.00. PA Credits available: 00 Core - 2, PC Private Category - 4, 06 Ornamental and Shade Trees - 2, 07 Lawn and Turf - 2, 18 Demonstration and Research - 4, 23 Park / School Pest Control - 4.
 
After rave reviews last year, NJLCA is bringing back its Pre-Con Workshops, which will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015 at the Expo Center. These in-depth workshops will allow you an interactive and exciting opportunity to learn from some of the best. Education will include a two-day ICPI Concrete Paver Installer certification, NJ Fertilizer Certification (with manual and test available in English or Spanish), DynaSCAPE's Landscape Graphics Workshop and an attendee favorite, Organic and IPM All-stars.
 
The business educational component on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, Trade Show Day, is sure to blow the doors off previous years, with great names and coveted topics to give you a leg up on your competition. The afternoon educational component is bursting with options for every attendee and is sure to give you the advantage you need.
 
Landscape NJ's Business Sessions include Collection Do's and Don'ts, Using Stone in the Landscape, Introduction to Hydroseeding and Brand Matters. In addition, if you are Spanish speaking, you will enjoy Bidding and Estimating, a DEP Recertification Credit Session and Small Engine Maintenance in Spanish.
