FORT MYERS, Fla. – R.S. Walsh Landscaping, a full-service design-build company, announced Mariah Bakke earned her Registered Landscape Architect license.
A native Iowan, Bakke joined R.S. Walsh Landscaping in 2015 after graduating from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s of landscape architecture. Throughout her education, she worked along research professors at Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, gaining experience in community planning, walkability assessments, floodplain management, graphic design and illustration. While a student, she also spent time in Rome and Lima, Peru, where she gained a greater appreciation for distinct site elements and construction details.
“Mariah has always been inspired by tropical landscapes leading her to south Florida,” said Robert Walsh, owner of R.S. Walsh. “Her fresh innovative approach to landscape design projects combined with her creative spirit are a tremendous asset to our design team.”
Robert and Lisa Walsh began R.S. Walsh more than 30 years ago, and it has grown into a sizable residential and commercial design-build landscaping company. It’s a family-owned and operated, full-service landscape design-build company.
